Washington DC to Bar Harbor

I find a camp further up to go and relax in, which is above Baltimore, so we head off this morning for Bar Harbor.




A busy drive through 2 large cities - always fun in an RV!

Going through the tunnel and toll roads.......

And then we are there - a camp on the Bush River off the Chesapeake Bay.


And it is a lovely place to unwind for a couple of days and being mid week, there are not too many here.  School holidays are finishing thank god.


The jetty beside our camper - there are several dotted around the camp which is on the tip of the peninsula.

Great views and a great sunset too!

Great place to unwind, very peaceful and we did not bother going out anywhere after arriving here.




We did try to extend our stay but the camp is full from Friday - the locals know about this spot!
