We decide to take another day to look around Louisville as this is the second time we have passed through here but have not done seen what was around, so we head back into town and start by taking a river walk along side the old paddle steamer.
Thus lead us into the parks and back into town where we went looking for the info centre to find it doesn't open until 12 noon on Sundays. We run into the end of a fitness Palate's class and then ask for directions to KFC and Ali Museums. We are told the Ali Museum is just down the road and also the Sluggers Museum which is worth doing, so head off to find these.
A well set up Museum with much memorabilia and information on Ali's life starting with a short film on the man.
After this one, we walked down to the Slugger's Museum.
This turned out to be far more interesting than I thought it would...... It was actually a tour of the factory where they make the bats showing the process and different types.
Some of the architecture around Louisville is amazing.
Colonel Sanders was on display in the info centre when we finally got there after some lunch at Maker's Mark.
Home to pack up - time to move on and we decide to head for Lexington in the morning and maybe Cincinnati, ending up in Georgetown.
