Lawrence, KS to Columbia, MS

Leaving Lawrence we pass through Kansas City again into Missouri, which we have crossed the top corner of before, but never stayed or did anything there, so did not count it as a state we had been in,  per our rules..................

 She is a gray old day and rain keeps coming as we pass by the city and into Missouri.

We are heading for St Louis, have been through Des Moines and to Witchita Falls on previous trips but never through this route.

The stadiums are huge over here.

 It decided to stay wet all day and we end up pulling into a truck stop and putting the jug on to sit out the rain for while, in between all the big rigs.



Shame we were travelling the same way as the rain, as we soon caught it up to it again!


Arrived at our camp for tonight in Columbia and went shopping, did washing etc so we are all set.  The rain finally eased and we had a quiet night.  Nice camp.

Finally putting the Missouri sticker on and filling in that hole!!!!!!
