We spend the next day sorting Jamie's birthday present and posting his which cost more than the present, then visit Manitou Springs again as Daryl has been tossing up on a piece of artwork there.

In the end Daryl decides to leave the artwork as it is not worth what they are asking and we head off in search of ways to fill the afternoon.
Firstly we visit the Garden of the Gods which is a free park with gift shop (huge) and then rock formations to drive around, although we have seen so many of this type of thing before, we do not stay long and then end up heading into town to look around again.
I found a nice top to buy and we had a leisurely look around before the weather changed and thunder and lightening rolled in as is usual for this area. We find a camp at Cheyenne, Wyoming, just over the border to move to and get ready for an early start.
