Vancouver to Anchorage to Fairbanks

Following some morning drama with the camp and storing our RV, we get on our way to the airport and go through the usual multitude of customs checks to leave Canada & enter USA (again).
After a four hour flight we make it to Anchorage for another round of airport checks & x-rays before leaving for Fairbanks, just under an hours flight north.

Ted Stevens Airport - Anchorage
On our way again and we head inland towards Fairbanks, our destination for today and where we join our tour.

Some of the views as we fly from Anchorage to Fairbanks - rugged land and mountain peaks.

 Coming into Fairbanks.

We make out final destination - a real bedroom about 3 times the size of the RV!!!!

The view from our window down the river.

Coconut Shrimp, Crab stuffed Mushrooms & Steak strips - all good.

Around 10 pm at night....

Photo taken after 11 pm and still day light like the middle of the day.
We had been sitting outside lolly gagging with the two couples below - lovely people who had just completed their tours and gave us some good tips on what to see & where to eat.
