Seattle - Day 2

Today we visited the Boeing plant and took the 1.5 hour tour of the plant where they manufacture the 747's to the newest 787.  A worthwhile tour especially if you have an interest, however the tour does not allow any electronics, purses or cameras etc......therefore no photos to show!!

 Daryl testing his pilot skills..
Can you spot the Kiwi flag?
Then we visited Tom & Vivian Profit who looked after us and showed us around when we visited in 2009.  Tom is a hot rodder who Daryl showed around when he visited Wellington.
Great colours in the trees

We had a wonderful afternoon catching up with Tom & Vivian and shared a pizza & glass of red wine for dinner while discussing differences in our countries.  Many thanks to Tom & Vivian for their hospitality once again.

We also got to see our first Bobcat which popped out of the hedge, stood for a moment and then scarpered off.  It looked like a muscular tall cat with a stub of a tail - hence the name Bobcat.

Unfortunately didn't have the camera on me so you will just have to believe us on this one!
