Niagara Falls - Canada

Today we head back to Canada (driving this time!) for a look at the falls in the daytime.   Still an amazing sight.

All the flags are flying and we walk the esplanade again taking in the falls as we go.

We decide to take the boat ride into the falls - we have come this far you just have to do it!

So we line up and pop on our lovely pink poncho's.  Daryl heads for the back of boat on the lower level where we hope to get a bit of cover......

 Ha ha............  yeah right.

Just a tad wet!  The ponchos kept most of it off our clothes so it didn't take long to dry out.   Great trip and amazing under the falls but very wet with spray everywhere.

After lunch, we wander through the park and spot the Canadian air force flying in formation over the falls and looping around several times.

Our boat, the Hornblower, on the next trip to the falls....

Back along the falls, we see a rainbow form and settle in the falls captured below with the Hornblower floating in to turn around under the falls.

We go for a drive down to Fort Erie which takes us down the river to where Lake Erie opens up to be part of the Great Lakes - so big you can't see the other side.
A lovely drive down the waters edge with some beautiful homes on the Canadian side where we make a brief stop before we head back to camp and decide where to head tomorrow.
