We turn around and head home making our way to Charleroi close to Washington in Pennsylvania, below Pittsburgh.
We take the 30 which turned out to be pretty windy with lots of mountains, but pass through some neat towns.
After about an hour and a half, we join back on the turnpike which is a toll road.
This is farming country and we see lots more barns, silos and crops..................
We turn off the turnpike and join the I70 which goes straight across to Columbus, Ohio but we are stopping in Charleroi.
We make camp - rather unusual one behind a swimming pool complex, which of course closed at Labour weekend, but nice enough.
Daryl tries his hand at fishing again and makes his first catch!
Just a little fella and we return him back to the pond to grow some more.
We book a camp at Delaware, Ohio, above Columbus for the next two nights.
