Newburgh - NY Air Show

Back in Newburgh for the New York Air Show which is very popular on this long weekend.

Long queues into the event and then parking queues followed by bus & ticket queues...... you get the picture....

Lots of  dare devil flying moves going on and lots of difference aircraft on display.

Big & small!

 Military boys on display also.

OCC also had a stand out there displaying more bikes......................

Went through the Black Hawk helicopter and posed with pilot on deck.

Even found this Star Wars character on set.

The flying in formation was pretty amazing and they put on a good display.

A biplane landed on the jelly belly - a small camper van as it drive down the runway.

Hornets zipped past with ear piercing speed and manoeuvred sharp turns amazingly.  Unfortunately it was after 3pm and the Thunderbirds were still not in sight but we decided to call it a day and leave before 3 million other people!

Back at camp we had a quick bite before heading out to the speedway in Middleton.  Unfortunately the car started to play up on the way there and so we did not stay too long as we were worried about getting home.  Made it back but we are both concerned as to what is wrong.
