New Jersey to Deer Park, NY

 Heading out of Jersey this morning in the rain - got our timing right!  Busy, narrow roads through the inner city and we lose our way twice!




Finally we make it out and get to the I80.

Small town America - Lafayette.


It amazes me that wild flowers are still doing there thing up here - so neat to see.  Usually by the end of summer they are all dead but not here, where it rains regularly.

 We make it into camp around mid day and set up for the long weekend - Labour Day on Monday and we know it gets mad on long weekends over here just like home but on steroids, so we are here for 4 nights.




We notice this guy across from our camp - not 100% sure what he is!
