Pentwater / Silver Lake

We are not travelling today so we went for a cruise to see Pentwater which turned out to be a really nice little lakeside town.  As we left the camp, a black snake slivered across the road in front of us......

Guess what they like doing here?????  We hear the Salmon are running.

Our good deed for the day, helping out the locals - guy had flooded the jeep.

 

Next we head down to Silver Lake which is another playground for big toys with huge sand dunes and a sheltered lake to play in.  Heaps of camping grounds all around here.

The dunes are a mile across.... we walked almost all the way across....

 

 

Our camp here has had deer, squirrels (both black and brown) and now wild turkeys -

big suckers too.
