Agawa Canyon Train Trip - Ontario, Canada

Early start today as we cross the border again to go on our train trip, 114 miles north into Canada.
Thought I might as well catch the sunrise but I was a bit early.....ironically.

By 7.30am we are there and boarding the train, carriage 1, for our trip.  The train rolled out at 8am and the journey took about 4 hours each way.

Great scenery as we rolled through scenic country side passed many lakes.  The trees are just starting to
change colour  - the price of the trip nearly doubles from 13 September as the fall colours are amazing.  Winter would also be stunning to see - frozen lakes and waterfalls in the snow covered landscape.

We stop at Agawa Canyon around 12.30 and wander around the falls and park.   First stop was Beaver Creek Falls.

Next stop is Bridal Veil Falls.

Life's tough for some...... these two toasting us as we roll past - obviously having a good time.

We dined in the rail car on the way back for a late lunch which killed an hour.... the trip back was a tad boring.   If they cleared some of the trees (sinful to some I know) this would be the most magnificent trip ever but you do get to see a lot of trees........  people sitting next to us echoed the same thoughts.
