Our last day here starts with fixing the car.....which Daryl has done - such a handy guy!
The old dip switch wire had broken.....

Then we head downtown again with the idea to do a boat tour of the Dells.
We take the tour of the Upper Dells which is two hours long and we are on the top deck with no shade but has a good breeze when we are moving - it is stinking hot and humidity is really high (around 78%)- not a comfortable day.
An old PT-109 war boat we passed on the way out.
First stop is "Witches Gulch". Thankfully, the temperature dropped by 15-20 degrees once you got in there. The walkway was very nice through a bush area that reminded me of home with ferns etc.

Next stop was at Stand Rock for a short walk to watch a pair of German Shepards jump the gap between the rocks - yeah that is what the smudge on the photo is........
The tour was okay and our camp is great - very relaxing, but personally I am not that impressed with Wisconsin Dells - it is an overpriced tourist trap, so unless you have a bunch of kids and want to do theme parks and t-shirt shops, there are better places to visit. Of course, that is only my opinion.
