Next day we decide to trip around the peninsula and head off looking for a side road to cross over to the east side.....by the time we choose one we end up at Bailey's Harbor, a quaint town about half way up.

 

 

Travelling up around the coast to Cana Lighthouse, we stopped for a look - this is an old lighthouse in operation since the 18th century and still in use - you walk across a narrow gap to gain access to the island.

 

 

Next stop, Two Sisters where we had lunch, another nice town but they all are up here.

Yes, Billy is alive & on top of a roof at a Swiss Restaurant.  Later we saw a little white Billy up there too.

 On to the top of the Peninsula at Northport where you can catch a ferry to Washington Island and then another to Rock Island but we were running out of time and so this was the end for us....

On our return down the west side, we stop in Ephraim for an ice cream and then down via Fish Creek, Egg Harbor and all the Lake houses between the Lake and the road.  The lake edge all being privately owned.

 

These two little ones were waiting to follow their Mum across the road - very cute.
