On the road again this morning as we make our way back to California. Neat to see old fashion hay mounds around the farms we pass. Lots of little lakes around this area of Nebraska.
After arriving at Dakota RV Park in Golden, where we stayed in 2013, we headed back about 10 miles into Denver to find the Hard Rock as we have been here three times and not got there yet......
We found downtown Denver this time and had a good look around - very different to other cities, lots of homeless and felt kind of dirty to me. It had a nice kind of mall centre with trams running up and down if you wanted to catch these. We did a bit of looking at shops and then decided to catch the 5pm showing of the Magnificent Seven at the movies.
Unfortunately this was spoilt by a parking ticket despite the fact we had paid the $15 for all day parking - the fine print on the ticket we quickly tucked into the window advised it finished at 7pm but this was not noted on the large signs around the parking area of the ticket machine. Parking ticket issued at 7.10pm for $75 when we got back around 7.15pm- not impressed Denver!
We head back to Golden and find a burger at Five Guys - not bad.
