Little Rock, Arkansas

We are still undecided about our direction to head and end up deciding on Little Rock in Arkansas as it is about the right length we want to travel.  On the way there are large patches of vines overgrowing everything which look quite freaky.

The GPS takes us up through Memphis, Tennessee and around the south west end of this city.....it is not a pretty city and If Graceland wasn't there, I don't think there would be much reason to go there.  Daryl has done Graceland before and I was not fussed on going there and having seen the area, was quite happy to keep driving and get out of there.

Looking back at Memphis city as we cross the river.

Over the river we enter Arkansas and down the road we stop at a truck park for a short break before heading on to Little Rock.  These trucks passed us a little way on......large loads - biggest tyre I have seen!

We have no idea what is in Little Rock but it appears quite nice as we drove through.

After setting up camp in the "Super Heat Wave" we are experiencing, which you melt in as soon as you open the door, we decide to go for a swim and cool off.  Then we don't feel much like doing anything so we stayed at camp for the evening.

Tomorrow we add Arkansas as our final state, although we have also driven across a good deal of Missouri and visited Cherokee in North Carolina but have not added the stickers as we have not stayed overnight in those two states.
