Amarillo (Thanks Giving) - Oklahoma

We have our first Thanks Giving in Amarillo.  The lady at the RV park recommended Furr's Fresh Buffet, where she was going with her mother also.  We went at 1.30pm, had to line up for 20 minutes to get in the door but it was pretty good and we had plenty of turkey & ham, with just a little taste of lots of deserts.......especially Daryl with his sweet tooth.  Yummy

This is the only time we have seen America shut down.......

We went out to Cadillac Ranch on Route 66 and Daryl added his artwork - you would be lucky if it was there 24 hours later.....

The paint is so thick it drips off the Cadillacs

Found this Museum on our way to Oklahoma in Elk City but it was closed for Thanks Giving weekend....bummer.  Set up like old town.
